Project: Provide the complete mechanical system for the new 15,000 seat MTS Centre in downtown Winnipeg.

Scope: The Derksen Group was awarded the $10.0 M contract by PCL Constructors for the complete mechanical system. The project involved some unique challenges including a ring duct and rain water leader system 140 feet above the arena surface located at the roof line. These systems also required the set-up and commissioning of life-safety equipment for the large open area of the arena. Project from start to completion was compressed into an 18 month schedule.
